Recent estimates suggest that 70% of processed food in the US contains genetically modified ingredients, largely from genetically modified soy beans. Unlike many other countries, the US doesn’t require food to be labelled as containing genetically modified ingredients. Should we be concerned about eating food processed from genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or is this concern unfounded?
