2) Find a single case study that appeals to you and consider why that might be. Is it the technology that was used? The problem that was tackled and possibly overcome? The product or content that was produced? Is it the final results of the civic media initiative?
3) Now consider the 10 Commandments presented by Rushkoff, and think about how the Civic Media case study that you chose fits in with his commandments for the digital age. Did the project force people to live in the present? Did it push for the truth? Did it offer people a way to choose “all of the above”? Did it keep people from selling their friends or push them to maintain their true identity?
4) Finally, once you have gone through steps 1–3 (take notes! keep track of your thoughts!), write two-three strong paragraphs (250-300 words) briefly describing your case study and then making the argument as to why or how your case study matches up with one or more of Rushkoff’s 10 Commandments.
